Horse manure can be an important source of energy. Fortum HorsePower is a completely new solution to bedding and manure management at horse stables. Our HorsePower service delivers bedding to the stables and takes care of emptying the manure yard. The bedding and horse manure collected from stables is incinerated at a power plant to create environmentally friendly energy.

The energy content of the manure produced by two horses in one year corresponds to the annual consumption of heat energy of a single-family house.
